Diggecard strengthens Board of Directors: General Assembly appoints Silje Nesvik and Sarah Lerche

Bergen, Norway, 21st January 2026 — Diggecard, a leading international provider of gift card solutions, announces that the General Assembly has appointed Silje Nesvik and Sarah Lerche as new members of the Board of Directors.  Susanne Brønnum continues as Chair of the Board. 

As Diggecard prepares for its next phase of international growth, the appointments strengthen the Board with vital competencies in technology, AI, finance, and scaling global companies.

Silje Nesvik brings deep expertise in technology, strategy, and international scaling. She has led technology-driven organisations through periods of rapid growth and has significant experience leading and applying emerging tech, AI and data-driven innovation to commercial business models. She is native Norwegian based in Copenhagen.  

 Her competencies include: 

  • Technology leadership, including product and platform development
  • AI and data-driven innovation 
  • International scaling of tech-enabled businesses 
  • Experience with growth strategies, partnerships, and operational expansion 
  • Insight into consumer-facing digital services 

Silje’s background strengthens Diggecard’s capabilities in product innovation and scaling globally. 

Sarah Lerche is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer and strategic advisor with deep expertise in scaling tech, healthtech, and SaaS companies from early-stage to exit. As co-founder and CFO of Escalon Services, Sarah built a pioneering business services firm from the ground up, growing it to over 1,000 employees and $65M+ in revenue before a successful private equity exit in 2022. 

With over a decade of experience as a fractional CFO to more than 50 Series A-C startups, Sarah has helped raise over $600M in venture capital, architected scalable financial operations, and implemented cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency and growth.  Her leadership spans financial modeling, investor relations, compliance, and acquisition strategy. 

Her competencies include: 

  • Financial reporting and analytics 
  • Public markets reporting 
  • Business modelling and unit economics 
  • Fund raising and investor relations 
  • HR and Sales Ops 
  • M&A (seller and buyer), due diligence and board presentations 
  • Audit, finance and acct.tech stack 
  • Process and system implementation 

Sarah’s experience will be instrumental as Diggecard strengthens its financial governance and prepares for long-term strategic initiatives.

The General Assembly prioritised strengthening the Board with competencies in technology, AI, finance, scaling, funding, M&A, and exit strategies. With Nesvik and Lerche, Diggecard gains a diverse and well-balanced Board uniquely positioned to support the company’s international ambitions. 

Lead by Chair of the Board, Susanne Brønnum, Nesvik and Lerche join existing board members Olav Balandin and Torkel Hope.
