We are proud to announce that Diggecard has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.
A key pain point in business partnerships can be technical integrations. Clients need confidence that systems will merge or migrate seamlessly to protect revenue generating processes, customer experience and brand reputation.
Last week our Head of Product Tatiana Kolesnikova was invited to present Diggecard’s approach to integrations at Booster conference in Norway; to share the story of ‘changing wings on the fly’ following our acquisition of NGC Europe.
Zero interruptions and tight deadlines
When Diggecard acquired NGC Europe in 2019, the design and development team were presented with a somewhat overwhelming task: to migrate multiple systems and amalgamate hundreds of customers with no interruptions, all to tight deadlines. It was quite a shopping list and one which could not be reneged on.
With large amounts of money processing 24/7 through these systems, downtime and error were not an option. Cost implications would be high and the reputational impact even higher. To tackle this challenge, the team at Diggecard relied on several robust methodologies that gave confidence to the in-house team, and also reassured colleagues at NGC whose systems were being replaced.
Focused design goals deliver success
The design goals were centred around a complete solution with incremental releases that allowed system changes to take place, piece by piece. Process optimisation through new technologies and manual task removal was considered equally important as well as delivering an MVP version of the solution to meet the tight deadlines.
The new system was built and became operational during 2020 despite all of the complications of the Covid-19 lockdowns and a considerable increase in Diggecard’s turnover. Now we continue to work on other integration projects which are on track to be successful too; we use the same methodology for all our clients at Diggecard for a consistent and reliable outcome. And we will continue to share our knowledge to help our colleagues to make their projects successful too.
